Few pics of undercarriage "almost complete"

Well i had a little time to paint some more of my undercarriage. also, the trans, and driveshaft have been installed within the last week. hopefully it can be up and running within two weeks. tell me what you think, i know there are a couple spots that need touched up. atleast another coat. i only cleaned it and then shot it with satin black spray out of a can. i think it doesn't look all that bad.

That looks awesome, i wish i had access to a lift to do that to my car. I'm in the process of building a rotisserie so that i can lay down por-15 and a topcoat. How many can's you go through?

I rattle canned my entire undercarraige with a semi gloss duplic color engine paint in the same fashion that bigdave did, and it looked awsome for about two months. The stuff ended up flaking and peeling off the floor boards and looks liek crap now.
While you still have it on the lift and before you get the urge to drive it, get some better paint - I wish I did!
The car looks like it is coming along nicely BTW, and we all got to see that nice driveshaft you spent so much time on

yes, it's a spohn tq arm, i used some hi temp paint actually from home depot. and i acetoned the whole undercarriage to make sure it will stick. 1 coat i used 4 cans. i still have 5 left. so another coat is in order. it will be a dual exhaust setup. either dual 2.5 or 3". have a guy come to the shop to do it. really good work. don't worry, when its done there will be many pics.

i have a lift but i wish mine was a two post like that... that probably makes things soo much easier than a four post lift.. but im glad i have the lif it still helps a whole lot.
btw i sprayed my undercarriage with the undercoat stuff from walmart it is rubberized. it has held up real well for me although it doesnt look as good as a semi gloss but it has held up awesome.

Looks good ive been thinking of doing the same thing. Thats alot of prep work right there. should be alot of fun once you get her back on the road.
PPG has some 2k Black epoxy that im thinking of doing mine with. pretty tough stuff and its water proof. You can topcoat it with most anything if you want or need to. Its semi gloss.
