looks good, but I'm not crazy about hash marks. however those look good because they're not too much of a contrast, real subtle.

Well I wanted the hash marks because I have the GS stripe on the car now and always wanted to see what it looked like. Im still debating the scheme but this is the first rough draft. I might go with the same colors...
Yes those are stock GTA rims

Again, I'm throwing ideas around. This isn't the final product yet. The rendering was done by none other than DevianB. He's on here, just look him up. The paint would be jet black base and have the stripes a dark gun metal color. If I was driving the car you would see the changes very slightly but once I'm parked the paint would come alive sorta thing. I also have the idea of continuing the stripe over the nose of the car but keeping the bird at the nose of the hood. The bird is actually off a 2ndgen T/A (70-72), I liked that bird better than the rest. It would be the width of the stripe as well. What do you guys think it would look like with red base color and white striping like my car currently has?

If you don't have room in a trophy case, don't do your car like this.
If you don't like getting a lot of attention, don't do your car like this.
Otherwise, I think you'd be a fool to just leave this as a rendering. That is so clean, so pure....just beautiful. Do it before someone else takes your idea and runs with it.

if the gs stripes are on both sides, then totally yes. i like the black one better, there's too much contrast in the red&white one.
btw what spoiler is that?
i do think that silver/charcoal instead of white may look pretty bitchin'

i like the black one better, but the hood stripe doesn't seem to fit. i don't like how the stripes just abruptly start at the hood vent. they need to be faded from the front or maybe flair the stripes out starting from the wings of the bird?? not trying to be too critical just my opinions.

I've liked two tone cars as well, but with this I think adding more color would just clash. The dark red/silver combo looks amazing to me, but so does the black/gun metal. It's hard to decide, too bad I won't be doing this anytime soon. I still have to pay off my new engine/trans work. Maybe next year though...
Hopefully no one takes the scheme for they're own,
Thanks for the input guys!

I like it for the most part but I wouldnt do the GS stripes with the hood stripe, makes the car look too busy to me. I think it might also look good if you bring the silver to the end of the hood and leave the emblem the body color.
you should go with red, as you probably already know its an attention getter. if you want more of a quiet look that doesnt turn as many heads, go with the grey i guess. im disapointed you arent doing this any time soon, ive always loved the paint scheme on your car, and incredibly that red rendering topped it. Hoepfully you follow through with it and are still on the boards by the time its done

I'm pretty darn sure I'll still be here when I eventually get it painted, which will most likely be next year. I also think I'm going to stick with the red/silver colors. Bringing the stripe over the nose of the car while keeping the bird in place will be alot better I think as well, as pointed out by Meridius. I don't know what to call the red though, Blood red? Should it be a dark silver?
I like the GS stripes on the fender with the main stripe, I wanted those since the very beginning.

nice work
the black with grey strip is awesome, you could match the wheels to the stripe.
the red is fun too but the black is to cool not to do.
howzabout a blue/silver combo.

gon8go, my buddy is working on a rendering with those colors as he has the same car as you pretty much. He saw my renders and NEEDED to make a blue one. Once he's done, I'll post it up.

Instead of going black, try a dark graphic metallic for a base colour and charcoal grey or something similar for the stripes. It will still add contrast yet give it the ghost type of impression.

I wont take ur scheme, Im just saying it looks freaking beutifull in black, and if I ever came across a gta that needed some paint work I might modify that to my likings.
for instance
Ram air hood with the fourth gen CETA hood decals but only one bird, in the spot that yours is in

Looks sweet to me. Those stripes were pulled off in red, on a blue corvette, so it cant look any worse that that
