Stripe Advice??
Well, i am gearing up for my winter pant job, and have decided that i want some kind of stripe on the car. Its a light blue, and i will try to post a pic later tonight. should the stripes stop at the bottom of the hood, or go all the way down? same for the rear? Als, andy ideas for something different from just plain straight stripes? thanks in advance

Stop on the hood. Honestly, I think stripes that go all the way down to the bottom of the front look stupid (no offence intended to anyone who has/likes them).

I also think a white stripe would look good. I'm not sure about stoppin at the hood or not though, maybe people should post pics of cars that have, and dont have the stripes stop on the hood. Just so you get an idea of what you want. That's a nice shade of blue man, good idea keepin it.

All the way down is ghetto...
I wouldn't stripe it because I don't particulary like the way they look, but if you are going to do it do it right. Heritage style stripes...

i like both styles, but with only going to the hood, to me it looks in complete. almost like some one swapped out the nose piece and hadnt painted it yet.

Definitely just plain white if you do white IMO.

Leave the "all the way down" for Ford and Dodge trucks as well as on the roof. Chevy has traditionally stopped their stripes at the leading edge of the hood, trailing edge of the trunk lid and never any on the roof. I prefer Chevy's way, at least on Chevy's and leave Ford's method to the Fords....

It's hard to tell on my hood pic that it's a cowl induction hood. I only have one more. This angle shows it better. The color is semi-flat black.
I don't have any with it on the car but I'm planning on taking some this weekend. I'll post some more then.

IMHO style it after the heritage stripes.

Well, took some rattle can to the hood this weekend, and didnt come out that bad. I like the way it looks, so this winter when i repaint, it will be going in this direction
