opinions needed for 16" tires

im sure this has been covered but...

on my 91 RS the tire size is 235/55/16 I want to upgrade to the 245/50/16 but I looked up the tire size calculator and came up with this...

it says that the 255/50/16s are a better fit, so my question is what do should I go with?

I attached the print screen of the calculations

maybe is someone has a few pics of the 255s it may help my dilema

thx..

assuming you have the 16x8 wheels, 255/50/16 in the back and 245/50/16 in the front would be great. i say 245's up front so they wont rub when you turn the wheels at full lock. i have the same combo on my car

The best tire I've ever used on my car is the Yokohama AS430. I have always used 245/50/16 all the way around. The AS430 is a great all season tire and is EXCELLENT in the rain. Dry traction is outstanding as well. It is fairly cheap when compared to other tires such as Nitto and the BFG KDW
