made some clear lights at work...

well the lenses anyways

i got clear ones for the front, and since no one makes them for the rear (well dont make them for the front anymore either) so i figured id make some to match the front since the red lenses stuck out

frosted the backside of the lense so it wasnt totally clear, cut it out on the mill and put them together...

only thing i have left to do is to paint the inside of the housings white, to get rid of the yellowed from ageing and sun, then i should be able to put them back in

Axle/Gears: huh?? guessing stock.
Since he frosted the inside they will still be reflective from the outside. the frosting only helps spread the light out more from the bulbs.

Looks good, but we need to see what they look like on the car.

Ha- nevermind diddnt think about the fact that he made new lenses and they wont have the reflective angles on the inside....

ill probably have them on by the end of tuesday, its been raining here and im not going to put them on in the rain...

im really not worried about the reflectiveness of them, as they were only small marker lights, if the cops really have that much to do where they notice that and pull me over for it, so be it

it looks good but i think it would have looked alot better if you would have sprayed the inside of the light chrome. i did that with my clear side markers and they look great.

essentially yes, it wasnt plexi but same stuff, this stuff is a little more flexable and durable i got it from the scrap bin at work, but plexi will work
