I like the idea....definetly go for it...although, if i was doing it, i would just extend the stripes to go to the gfx..both front and back..IMHO, i think that would look a tab bit better...other than that, change nothing...that looks sweet.

I think that would look sweet. As long as you could get the colors to match ok with the ground effects. And I think it would look better the way it is and not extended to the ground effects. Just my .02.

Also are those birds at the beginning of the stripes? If they are I would leave them off. Again just my opinion.

I didnt notice at first, but the blackouts look good too...as far as the stripes go, i have always been a fan to extend them down to the gfx....but everyone has their own tastes and thats cool too. Its up to you bud, its your ride...but def. match the stripes to the gfx paint at least....that needs to be done. Other than that, its great idea. Change nothing else...or whatever else you want

the paint will match but that the closest i could find on the program i used and the birds will be biggerall this is after the paint job.

my plan is as follows

1. major tune up
2. suspension work
3. brake work
4. body work
5. tranny replacement (t56)
after i have the car ready i am going to get a zz4 and buld on that then drop it in then maybe i can beat that f**kin probe ive been losing 2

Personally, I love it, I even like the birds in the stripes... but the problem I see is that you should round the lower edges of the stripes because right now it looks like they should extend farther because of that straight edge there. Just my opinion, but I love the color scheme. And don't take them down to the gfx, expecially w/ gold gfx and gold stripes.

I like the look, but I would change a couple things..

Remember, this is if it was MY car..

First, I would NOT extend the stripes down to the GFX, just not my style.
If I was gonne put the birds on there, I would paint them gold and put them as the beginning of the stripes.. It would give the stripes a good starting point, right behind the wings. I would put the birds next to the center one, a little farther back, and move the center bird (if at all possible) lower on the front, kinda like a V, if ya know what I mean. (that is too many birds though..)

Otherwise, gold stripes on a black and gold TA would look good.

Just my .02!!!

Im with AmorgetRS on this one.
Except a couple more ideas.
Yes Round the edges, but also bring up about 1" from the nose, not all the way to the edge.
Also a thin stripe around the larger stripes will give it a more profound, distinct look.
Small stripe will also make it look like you actually spent some time and money doing it. Not a few strips of 4" duct tape.

I liked the idea of making the birds in the front as a starting point. That sounds like it would look really good. Any do that on photoshop?

Yeah, I think they should move up about an inch, too. And for the Birds being at the bottom, again, agreed. Kinda like 10th Anniversary Firehawk or something. Either was you are going good.

As a fellow black and gold owner, im my opinion, dont do it. But if u do, some sort of rounded edges is the way to go.

I have the hood bird, most people thinks its tacky or 80ish. Well it was made in the 80's!

I was throwing the idea around of a ghost bird. U kinda see it and yet not.

I think it would look really good. I would agree with everyone about the birds. I would do it like this but same color as ground effects.

the idea is to have the wings of the firebird 'extended' into the stripes

What about starting the stripe from the louver? Paint the louvers gold, and then make the paint stripe from the back edge of the louver opening. You end up with narrower stripes than the pic, but it makes the stripe look like it's coming out of the louvers.

im not really a bird lover, i think the 91s and 92s look decent, in more a camaro fanatic, but i think it looks ok. i think if you made the "3rd" blue screaming chicken, the one by the nose, not on thr stripes, yellow, it will look alot better. not yellow yellow, like the color of the GFX and stripe.

I think it looks okay. Thats not something that I would do but it looks good. If anything I would put only the stripes and not have the GFX gold.
