really, it's all personal preference. I went with 17's. At the time, I thought
17's were perfect....but if I could go back....I would have went with 18's.

i like the look of 18" and a five spoke design, but the style is up to you. check out centerline daggers. i have them and i love them. a bit pricey though...

I think you need to define what you mean when you say best. Looks/Price/Performance etc, etc

i am the same way... i thought the 17's were the perfect size for our cars and now there are a ton of people with 18's that look really nice, so if i had it to do over again ya i would probably have gone with 18's

17x8.5 in fronts 17x9.5 in rears, centerline saharas. I personally went with 17's because i felt they were the perfect size on the thirdgen t/a. plus with the added eibach pro-kit, it made the car look 100x better. sold the car to 87tpi and he has now 18's on the with pics that he posted earlier. so u take ur pick which size looks better

I just want to add that whatever size/style you decide to go with, it almost always looks better with a 'smooth lip'

reverse mount wheels do look nice in my opinion. 18's are the largest i would go with any thirdgen you drive on a regular basis as 19's and 20's are just too large as they will bend easy and they are heavy so you'll need alot of power to get the same feel you can out of 16's. anything billet is always sharp on these cars.

big wheels blah blah blah. 17's should be the biggest you go, otherwise you got all this uneccesary rotational mass and weight going on, then you got those exspensive @ss tires and so on. 17s are perfect, 18 ok, nothing else that isnt for show. I like my 17" cragar style rims and 87tpi's 18X9 Centerline Sundance Lazers.

when i get wheels for my car i will be going with both 17's and 18's. The classic torque thrust II's 18's in the rear with 17's up front. i havent seen any other cars with those sizes but i like the look of bigger wheels in the rear and i think itll look great. then for the track ill throw a set of 15" torque thrustD's on the rear for a nice big drag radial and they will match the front wheels.

Not saying the 4th gen rims dont look bad on a 3rd gen car. I just wanted more of an offset. I like seeing a larger lip going around the rim.

Nice pics everyone. I have 17in chrome/polished TT2's but as far as the best looking wheels on a thirdgen I would have to say Intro GT sport. Also, love the brake upgrade 18inchboyds. Where did you purchase it from?

My direct fit, no longer made(new ones fit 4th gens & need adapters), ROH Snypers. 17" x 9" front, 11" rear(were 9" but I had them widened).
See my sig for more info.

Just adjust the finish slightly. They have a similiar meatyness of the stock wheels.
