Windshield Washer Fluid Tank Replacement?

Windshield Washer Fluid Tank Replacement?
Alright folks, my problem is this, I ordered me a new overflow bottle to replace my old and stained yellow one, looks great.
Now, I ordered me a new windshield washer fluid bottle to replace my undercoating spattered one I have now, so...
It comes in, and since I have no hole for my low fluid level sensor, I continued to make one myself, I put the sensor In and im ready to go put it on....
IT WONT FIT!
Turns out, since my car has cruise control, it wont fit inbetween that and sit in the right spot for the mounting holes.
What do I do now?? I cant return the bottle because Ive already cut the hole for the sensor, and the bottle that I DO need is discontinued.
Is it possible for me to somehow move my cruise control over so the slightly larger bottle will fit?
