Taking Apart My Parking Lights
Ok, Im wanting to take apart my parking lights so I can re-paint them black, mine have started to fade and discolor.
Question is, how do I get the amber lenses off?
Do they pop off, pull off, or do you pry them off?
What needs to be done so I dont damage them?

(2) 7mm bolts hold down each of the parking light assemblies.
Can't take them apart without using a dremel or small grinder. That would destroy them though.
Just use masking tape, cover the part that lights up with the masking tape, then use black Krylon plastic fusion spray paint (sold at ace hardware). Then apply the spray paint. You may want to clean the part the needs to be painted with rubbing alcohol first.
