Anybody have their Intakes anodized????
Well??? Did u do it yourself or pay to have it done? what colors? Got any pics? I want to do my Plenum, Runners, Base, and my dart aluminum valve covers. Any advice on how to do it? I have instructions on how to do it at home and it looks fairly simple. Ill practic on scrap first though

Cast Aluminum is very difficult to get an anodized look due to the silcone content in the casting. Here's a link you might want to check out:

Scroll down to topic number '6' and just do some reading, you will see what I am talking about. It's a really cool site and also gives a few more ideas other than anodizing, such as ceramic coating and powder coating.

hey m an you should get your stuff powdercoated. you can get almost any color and even transparent colors. if you have polished stuff and get them powdercoasted with a transparent color it looks sweet

I hate powdercoating with a passion. Dont ask why
If it comes down to it Ill just polish the whole thing. Id really like to ano it though. I will check out that site as soon as i get some free time. In the mean time, anyone actually anoed theirs? OR at least attempted it?
