Are there any functional Ram Air hoods for 3rd gen Camaro's??

I'm just wondering if there are any functional Ram Air hoods for 3rd gen Camaro's and if so, what's a website for them? I know the ASCD 3rd gen SS hood says to specify whether or not it's TPI, but I don't know if that means it's functional or just for clearance or what. Also, if anyone has one, how do you like it? Thanks

Just to let you know, it won't work... it has been suggested before but there is something with where the engine sits in relation to the hood... I doubt there is enough room for it. I've seen a SS Camaro's air box and stuff and its pretty darn huge....
To answer your question... basically no.. the intake sits too far foreward and there isn't a whole lot of room (I had a SS hood on a V-6 and my Ram Air setup barely fit, though it did fit and worked awesome)... good luck though...
Oh, yeah, forgot, if you want to pay up the *** for a hood Suncoast does make a functional one... HTTP://www.suncoastcreations.com/2001/index.htm

Enjoy!

But!! , Suncoast only offers a functional hood with air box for the Firebirds . I called them when I got my SS hood and they said they have absolutely no plans to offer a 3rd gen Camaro hood . They were working on one , but the plan got scraped so they could work on more truck hoods ...thats what I was told.
