holy heck howd you do that???
no that cant be fixed, it would involve welding new aluminum into place, but that aluminum is very strong so it wont weld well. buy another rim.

I hit ice and the same happened to me. If it can be fixed, to make it look as good as new it'd cost far more than a single good condition IROC rim.

Nailed and ran up a curb, I thought that I had done so much more damage, but that was it. Now I need to find someone who has a single gold 16" rim for sale

that is UNFIXABLE and impossible to even attempt...youre probably lucky that its holding air still...get a new rim asap bc that wheels is no longer safe and has lost some of its strength

I am not leaking air, so I might be able to ride on it for a while, its more just how it looks. I am just worried about hitting a bump and the sharp edge cutting into the tire.

Don't drive on that, put your spare on or something. Wait until you get a new one man, don't run the possibility of causing more damage to your car. That tire could blow off of the wheel, it could blow up and ruin your body.. don't run that risk man, put your spare on.

Problem is, my spare can not be run for very long, you guys know how small those things are. I might be able to scrape together the cash for a new one, but most of the ones i find are in a set and i dont think i can find the $ to do that. Right now this is my only driver.

another problem is that your wheel and tire are now out of balance too. that tire will not hold its seal for much longer and any amount of driving can cause it to lose air especially cornering.

Seriously, dude ... DO NOT drive on that! If you're real worried about the spare, go to a junk yard, pick you up a temporary wheel that you can mount your tire on. Unless you're worried about LOOKS with the spare ... in that case, you're screwed. If you don't want any more of your car messed up, don't drive on that tire. I doubt it would take much stress to pop it right off of that rim ... then you're going to be out of control going down the road ... not cool.

There are companies that specialize in the repair of wheels, so I am sure your wheel could be fixed. However, I agree that it makes no sense to do so since it would be expensive.
With regard to the spare tire for your car, I believe those little dinky donuts are only rated for 35 miles per hour or so...they are really designed to get you from the side of the highway to a garage or home and that's it. Don't put it on and cruise your car around for weeks on end and at highway speeds. It looks dumb and is not safe.
I am sure that between this site, eBay, Craiglsist, and any other local classifieds, you will be able to find another Iroc wheel or a whole set for a decent price in a fairly short time. Even if you find one that isn't gold, it's best to buy it and use it and wait for a gold one rather than to continue driving on your broken one or with the dinky donut.
