Thats about what I lowered my 92.. and then i slapped 18x9's in the front and 18x10.5's in the rear, and it really doesnt look that lowered to me anymore.. I wouldnt personally go any bigger than an 18 though on our thirdgens.. The larger chrome iroc rims look KILLER.. Almost wanna do that on my 89 convertible.

As for durability, well the thirdgens ive owned take a lickin and keep on tickin, may need to do work on em, but they arent easily killed, and they handle excellenty!

Good to konw your making progress on the car.. every little bit helps..

84 1le , If you got 2 to spare i could use 2 for my 89 droptop.. lemme know what youd want and what not if Sprtbikeprincess doesnt want them.

thanks.

I'm cool for now. My stereo system should be in by next week, then next month I finish the inside while I check on rims. I think I still have a homie hookup at a chrome shop. Im still gunnin for the 17's. Can you powder coat brake calipers?

Just like a woman!!!

Okay I changed my mind, I found some rockin all black rims with a chromed outer lip, Looks super sick! I have to do the t-tops this week but just want to make sure its okay to do if the weather is a little damp (will it affect the glue)?

I prefer to use RTV silicone for weather stripping/T-tops.Glue can dry out over time.waiting till the weather has warmed up will help.Especially if you want to drive the car.Dont want any water leaking. The silicone has to set & any movement/vibrations can cause a possible leak to occur.......PURPLE 92SS.....Ill PM you....

air bags?????

I have a friend that suggested baggin my ride. He said there are three presets one to the floor, one to look mean and sit low and the third to raise up for speed bumps and stuff. know any one that has done this and how it works out for third gens?
