Well its if you like them or not, they are cool but i perfer analog gauges. Search "cyberdyne gauges" on here and youll come up with some opinions on them.

i would get them because they make your car look sweet, but only problem with them is when your accelerating, the numbers are all jumbled so you cant tell your speed or your RPM. cool thing about some of em tho is if you ever come to canada from the US (or vice versa) you can switch your gage from mph to Km/H

I've got the Dakota Digital cluster in my 92 RS. I had to have it custom made because Dakota Digital does not stock the bezel for the 90-92 cluster. I sent them a "ready to install" cluster and the converted it to digital for me. Installation is not plug & play as many would think. You need to find the correct wires on the connectors behind your instrument panel, tap off from them and wire them to the Dakota Digital microprocessor which is mounted somewhere under the dash.
You can set the update sensitivity (at least on the tach) to where you can see the numbers climb, but there is also a bar graph on the same dial which I watch more than the numbers while accelerating.
Dakota Digital will custom make a panel for any vehicle as long as you send the original "ready to install" cluster with its bezel to them, turnaround time is 90 days.
Another company that makes them is Nordskog, which has a "universal" kit where you can create your own panel

Nordskog makes ones for the 90-92 clusters. http://www.nordskogperformance.net/p...003-dp4005.htm
I really wouldn't mind getting one, I think they look sweet but I'm not going to spend $500 on one when I still have to hack up my wiring.

Wait gramps what are you talking about when you talk about accelerating with the cyberdyne gauges... I don't seem to understand what your talking about...

My factory gauges don't work worth a damn. My oil-pressure gauge doesn't work at all and the accuracy of the tach on these cars is a total joke. According to my tach, the tranny shifts at 7000+ rpm and pulls all the way there too

I think the Nordskog gauges look awesome. They've got that retro "80's high-tech" look to them which suits these cars really well.
Their accuaracy couldn't possibly be any worse than the stock gauges and they have cool features like displaying/saving your highest speed, 1/4 mile ET and 0-60 time, plus they come in red/blue or yellow which are bright and vibrant LED's (unlike the crappy lighting behind my instrument panel which makes it near impossible to read the display's at night)If we could get enough people, I'd get in on a G.P. for the Nordskog panel for sure...
