So basically, you have no license yet, you already painted the car from Blue to Grey, and now, after not ever driving it, you're going to "shave" the door handles, and repaint it again?

I bought my car already shaved. Looked good to me, but actual operation is pain. Have had to crawl through hatch way too many times. Anyway, have a look.

thats why you have an emergency button with an alternate battery source...btw it takes much less power to trip a switch then to turn a car over...your battery would have to be completely toast and not even turning on the internal gauges and lights

and it looks a hell of a lot cooler than some big bulgy out of place looking stock door handles

I by all means don't intent to kill your motivation, but once you get your license and your dad hands you the keys and says its yours now, hes not joking. Unless your parents are paying for everything you do to that car, good luck, because at 16 you won't get paid alot and you won't get alot of hours in for a job. I just turned 17 and still TRYING to pay off what my dad paid for it and when I turned 16 I had all these dreams for making my Camaro this hot-roddin-cammed-out-lowered-attention-getter-hunk of steel. But then I got a good taste of the real world when I got my first paycheck and my first 15 gallons of gas. All I'm saying is don't get your hopes up too fast because it sucks bad when you do realize it.

I have 10 years of work into mine and enough to by a brand new c6 z06 to get it where it's at today. i started at 19 and had my license for sometime by then. i wish you luck as that effort and money needed to do such a thing is life changing.

So wait you also have a 406 smallblock with all those mods in your sig, and you have never drove the car legally?

Thats awesome and all but do you really have to start out with a motor as powerful as your listing?

Really all i needed was a 305...the 350 was enough to get me in trouble.

I got my car when i was 17...i got it with help. I just turned 20 and after many thousands its where it is now, and no where near where i envision when i sleep

Wait a bloody second, you guys are about to give the kid a hard time because hes working on customizing the car before he can drive it? IMHO thats awesome. So what if he wants to repaint it, shave the door handles, etc etc? Its a good learning experience and a great way to kill time (better then getting into drugs thats for sure!)

If you want to shave your door handles, do it!

It was never part of my plan to put a new motor in it. I have a job allready, and I was saving up every penny, and it was rebuilt , and my old motor looked like this
