faded clear coat on roof, how to make it shine again?
The car was repainted with basecoat/clearcoat, but the roof is becoming faded and dull and looking kinda crappy compared to the nice looking rest of the car. Could I just use Meguiar's cleaner/wax on it , or would I have to use something else. If so, what? And how would I go about doing it? Sorry I don't have pics to post, maybe next week.

I'd start by using a medium cut compound (I like 3M's). If you have a machine buffer (non orbital) it would be good to use it in this step. I use a drill attachment. Then I would get Myguires polish (not wax, I like the crystal glaze) and do the same with it. Your paint should sweek went rubed with a cloth after this step. Finally I would use a really good wax like Myguires Clear Coat.
I can get all the product numbers if you like.

Well, can I get all the stuff at my local Pep-boys center? (and hardware center for the buffer attachment for my drill)? If so then I won't need the part numbers, but if not then part numbers would be great (also include who they are for) Thanks alot for the reply, I'll post some before and after pics when I get a chance (and when it's done).
