Figured I would post up to let everyone know that there is another option for replacing your spoiler. A branch decided to take out my aero spoiler and a new or used one cost way too much for just a spoiler (at least on my budget). Instead, I picked up a fiero spoiler for under $80 and mounted it. I know 1 or 2 have done it on this forum already but here is some more info and pics.

Mounting was easy, you will need to drill 4 new holes and fill the old ones though. Just take the time to measure. Best yet, there is no third break light to worry about. The results are shown in the pics. To me, it looks way better then the stock pedestal spoilers but not sure if it beats the aero spoiler yet. The spoiler actually looks like it was made to fit the car.

Re: Fiero GT Spoiler
Looks good man, it follows the line of the car pretty well! Now paint it body color.

Re: Fiero GT Spoiler
I have a buncha Fieros and compared the wings alot

Compared to the base bird wing, the Fieros is several inches shorter, has a wider surface and is about a half inch thicker

The wing stands are slightly taller than the birds, but are removable

Not that many people on this site would care to, but several Fieros owners lift the wing and adj the angle with aftermarket stands

Something to think on

Fiero wings are usually quite a bit more expensive than bird wings

interesting info. I think the fiero spoiler would look much better on the firebird if the stands were shortened so the ends are just above the quarter panel.

Re: Fiero GT Spoiler
You have to be kidding me. I've been wandering if this would work for quite some time now and even made a post about it on the Fiero forum I am a member of( http://www.fiero.nl/forum/Forum6/HTML/048378.html ). That looks great. Guess I'll be going to see my Fiero mechanic later this week to pick one up.

Do you have any more pictures you could post?

Re: Fiero GT Spoiler
"Time to fly" I like that!

Anyways, I like that. Not as much as the aero spoiler, but it looks better than other wings I've seen on Birds. Good job!
