On the radiator plate, the code is 16U and 16L, 16 upper body and 16 lower body. Can anyone tell me what colour the 16 is? I bought it silver, but I want it to be the Corvette 25th Anniversary silver, the upper body colour, not the lower. No way in heck could I pull off a two-tone job unless I just did the skirt kit. What colour is the 16, and then what colour would the the Corvette 25th anniversary silver be (upper body)?

Without knowing what year 3rd gen you have makes it kind'a difficult as the codes differed slightly from year to year.
The only year I can find that has a code 16 is 1982. Is that your car?
Code 16 is Silver Metallic (29,262 '82 cars built with this colour).

The 1978 25th anniversary Corvette's upper body Silver Metallic was code 13. Or repaint codes . . .
Valspar = S028
PPG = 2953
DuPont = 44716

Yeah, it was an '82, and its original colour was a silver metallic colour. I'll first compare the two colours, but the Silver Metallic was absolutely gorgeous on our old 78 that we had to sell.
