Dude, I am in love with your car. It is incredible. The brakes I got from http://www.metzcon.com/bigbrake/ and they went in really easily. No modifications needed. I would recommend it to anyone. Big difference in braking power. They dont really grab more at the beginning but when you are really determined to stop they will stop you instantly

Do you know how the LS1 brakes compare to the C5 brakes?

Re: Pics! Camaro out of hibernation. 56K take a walk

Theyre smaller. The LS1 brakes require a minimum 16 inch wheel and the C5 braker require a minimum 17 inch wheel. The C5 brakes come with a 13 inch rotor. Im sure you wont feel a huge difference while driving on them. I have 17 inch rims so I figured I would go as large as possible

Headlight housings http://www.rallylights.com/hella/165mm_lo.asp
Get Item # H65451 for $164.73
Then get a hold of these guys on eBay. Get them to send you real HELLA stuff. I talked to them and they sent it to me. The HIDs came to about $160 USD. Get the H4-2 kit and rewire it so that the HIDs run on low beam and halogen runs on high beam. It is just swapping the red and brown wired on the three prong connector. Pretty straight forward install

edit: forgot the link http://motors.search.ebay.com/_W0QQsassZflashplus

Ok, thanks for the info. I'll probably have to go with the LS1 brakes since they're cheaper. I'm really tired of the crappy stock brakes, my dad's Sierra with 286k miles on the clock can stop better than my car.

Offtopic: here's a picture of my engine bay, the paint is not that shiny any more (lovely Van Nuys paint) but it is clean. TPI airbox coming soon.

Re: Pics! Camaro out of hibernation. 56K take a walk

HIDs are in and I polished up my turn signals/parking lamps since they are 17 years old and just looked nasty. I will eventually get new ones but this will do for now

HID pics (6000k):

Re: Pics! Camaro out of hibernation. 56K take a walk

im using canuck motorsports lowering springs, its a 2 inch drop front and back. the ones that they normally sell are 1.6 inches but i asked for a bit lower. i dont remember what shocks and struts i have in there right now, i did that like 2 years ago.

I like the color a lot...you don't see it that much...as far as the driving lights, go to Auto Zone / Pep Boys and get some Meguilars Plastic X for $5.00 and those lights will look brand new in about 10 minutes time and cheaper than buying new ones...nice car...

opps I read the whole thread and you got the Meguilars Plastic X...I am switching to the hID's later this month...do u like them?
