im lookin at an 88 camaro...but i dont know if its a SC, Z-28, or I-ROC its a 305 v8 and has 160k on the car...a few rust spots that can be dealt with, no speakers an alpine head unit..can anyone help me out? im gonna wetsand it, prime, it and paint it black but i want to knwo the exact model first four VIN digits are:

i think you will need to know more than that. You should get the RPO codes in the center console and match it up to the codes found on this site.

right on the side ground effects, behind the front tires, what does the badge say. CAMARO = Sport coupe Z28= z28 and so on. pretty simple find, is the motor a tpi or does it have a black round style air cleaner on it? my bet is that its an sc like mine, see my sig.
