Progress pics of 383/T56 swap with smoothed and repainted engine bay

Here are a few pics of the progress Ive made.

Radiator overflow smoothed, holes for windshield washer filled.
Raidator is a Griffin 31x19 universal, had to cut and lower the bottom radiator support and moved the top of the rad. toward the front of the car.

Still need to get a piece of aluminum and make a radiator cover.

Repainted entire engine bay.

Still need to get some overspray off of it too.

Entire underside has POR15 on it, k member took out and por15 on it, new ball joints, eibach pro kit.

True 3" dual exhuast, 25 inch Classic chambered powersticks. Hedman lontubes.

Still need to pull motor back out and put oil pump in and have Bret Baeur grind a cam for me, get a clutch for the t56, and stick it all together.

cool beans! could you get me a pic of what you did with the radiator support? im in the middle of a swap myself and that sounds like a good idea and the radiator looks a lot better sitting lower like you have it.

thanks

I cant remember how much por 15 it took, ill find my reciept and tell ya. Ill post up some pics of the underside later too.

The driver side has the valve cover that will be used, the matching one was not at the garage that day. Hopefully it will be back on the road again about 2-3 months.

Re: Progress pics of 383/T56 swap with smoothed and repainted engine bay

Here is the pic of the radiator support, just cut and add around 2 inches of metal to it, I still need to clean my welds up and paint it. There is another pic on page 11 of my cardomain in my sig.

I cant find the reciept for the por15, but im sure it only took 1 quart, although i havent done behind the axle, so I would say 2 quarts would be fine. It seems to spread good. There is another pic on page 12 of my cardomain, in my sig
