Idea on how to make a SS Hood functional for Ram Air..

Ok,a lot of people are puzzled on how to make this hood functional, well I have an idea.

First, open the scoop, and place some kind of screen infront of it.Then head over to your local hardware store.Look for either plastic tubing,or gutter parts. You can use two sharp corner peices for the scoop and the TPI.Then just use a long enough straight peice for the middle.Like a skinny S. Just pondering the thought

"A musclecar, by definition, is a powerful and sporty vehicle that must be able to spin its tires at will. The Firebird Trans Am is capable of laying down twin black streaks of rubber several hundred feet long. We wanted to be sure it could, so we did it a half dozen times in the name of automotive science."-MotorTrend

Sounds good. Luckily it is easy for me having a carb!

I WOULD RATHER PUSH A CAMARO THAN DRIVE AN IMPORT

1983Z28 350w/ edelbrock performer RPM power package with 64cc aluminum heads, dynomax shorty headers, 700R-4 with shift kit, 750cfm carb, edelbrock 3" exhaust system, ASCD SS hood, 16" IROC rims.

future mods:
completely done over suspension, black paint with flames, Hurst shifter, dakota digital gauge package, procharger supercharger.

It's almost the same idea with the Twin ram-air peice for TPI,that gets air from the foglight area

If you wanted to do it classy, you could get the LT1 airbox for the hood and fab a couple mounts and just a little extra piping to the TB if any.
