You know where on the top of the headlights it says Pontiac, is that gold or silver on the GTA? Mine is silver but someone I know has a GTA and it's gold.. but his car was painted and mine is original.

 

All badging on GTAs is gold.

i have a 91 gta and on the flip up part of the light its in the same as the color of the car. there both red

 

they are all supposed to be body color, people have filled them in but factory they where just body color

 

I believe mine is silver, let me check.........yep, silver.

Interresting. I was under the impression from the GTA Sourcepage that all GTAs had the badge in only Gold, as were all other GTA badges on the car.

if you got the car used, i'm assuming you would know if you did this, the emblem on the headlight might've been replaced for some reason. it could've even had something hit the headlight area and the guy just got a headlight from any old 'bird from the junk yard.

if you got the car new like that, who knows. from what i, and a lot of other people seem, to understand is that all badging was gold on GTAs. maybe yours was a fluke if it came new like that. way way way before i got my '88 T/A my parents bought a white '82 Z28 new. the thing is, it came with the driver's side mirror BLACK. figure that one out haha. the dealer fixed it, of course, but hey, it's a story.
