Running out of ideas to fix hatch...
Well my hatch isn't lining up as it should... and i have searched and have tried many of the methods to get it right. But with out shocks my hatch sets pu about an 1/8 inch on the driver side and about 1/4-1/2 inch on the pass. I dont see any damage to the car and i have put in other weather stripping and that worked some. The rubber bump stops well... the driver is touching and the pass. isn't. the driver makes the pass side of the hatch sit more level with the body. also the hatch is sticking out a lil past the back of the car. about a 1/4 inch. But when u put the shocks on the car it causes the hatch to stick up even more and on the pass. side it is about an inch to high and i dont kno what to do. the hatch set perfect on the car it came from and when i put it on mine it just wont set right. i dont know what to do but i hve to get it right because it just bothers me to know that its not sitting as it should. Please someone help me. I am doing all i can but i just cant fix it!!! thanks -Matt

If it's not bumping anything, have you adjusted the hatch pull down? If you don't have that you should be able to adjust the striker to go down further. BUT MAKE SURE THE HATCH IS NOT HITTING ANYTHING.

Re: Running out of ideas to fix hatch...
my friends does like that, someone told him that the side parts of the spoiler or the spoiler are from a later/earlier year camaro dont know the truth of that, the moving the striker down seems logical, if yours had a pull down motor originaly and it went out, people where known to just tack yeld or bolt the striker in the lowered pos. if this was done possibly the D.A. that did it dit it to high
