Who here honestly likes third gens better than ls1 4th gens?
I really would like to know - not just because you have a third gen, can't afford a fourth gen, etc. Who here truly loves the body, styling, etc. of the third gen better than the 4th gen fbod? Why?
I ask because after having several, I am coming around again to the third gen Camaro - I love the looks!

For looks definitely the 3rd gen. it has a sleeker body yet more square but lower & wider style compared to the 4th gen. 
as for engines you can't compare to the LSX series, the technology is far better than any other engine for power, reliability, performance...etc!

I TRULY love the 3rd gen better than the 4th gen.
Your question as to why is, I don't know! Just do. To me they just have more of the muscle car feel, like they should.
I would choose a 3rd over a 4th anyday.

i don't like anything 4th gen as much as its 3rd gen counterpart: camaros, 'birds, T/A's, Z-28's, etc. i think the 4th gen styling looks a little dated already, whereas the 3rd gen has been pretty "in" since it came out. i don't even give 4th gens a second glance most of the time, where i usually do a double-take for an 82-92.

3rd gens have or can have:
1) More engine bay room
2) Steel doors and front fenders (for shaving purposes)
3) 3rd gen dashes or 4th gen dashes, 4th gen door panels
4) 100 lbs less weight with the same engine/tranny combo(and similar options),
5) Less expensive windshield
6) wheels with 3rd gen offsets or 4th gen offsets(with spacers or 4th gen rears)
Thirdgens just have more potential and more ability to be customized.
