Yeah, give it time man. I don't know what you should do, but if your repainting it, why clean it first?

There's no reason to wash it. They do it for you.
Unless the deal you worked out is that "you bring the car, we spray the car"
In that case you should at least wash it. LOL.

exactly....they have to at least scuff it before they shoot it, so I would not worry about washing it. I have some parts over at the body shop right now and I saw them last week, dusty as hell, He did not say you gotta wash em
Paint it or prep it your self! It is so easy to prime it, just some painting and some sanding. Buy the paint and the primer together and make sure they are compliant. Rent a compressor, it's that much cheaper. Use the right sandpaper and quality stuff and you will be fine! (ps- Go nut's with stripes and decals, and NO-one will have a car exactly like yours!)

ahhh that's more like it. thanks for the advice, i had no idea that they would wash it for me. i guess i'll just hose it off and make sure there's no bird shi+ on it.
Actually, on the psychological side of things, if you wash it and clean out the inside before you take it over there, they're more likely to treat it nicely as they can see you care about the car. On the other hand, if they get in and there's a two month old Pepsi stain and it's associated McDonald's meal wrappers and food bits, maps, recipts, bits of paper, odd change, and et al crap all over the car, they won't give a damn if they add some grease stains and whatnot..
Just looking at the other side of the argument...
