so i have been told that there is a paint code for our cars on them, however i have not been able to find it, i checked the codes in the center console and found nothing. Am i looking in the wrong place? 89camaro if it helps...

 

the code should be at the lower left corner of the rpo list

 

On the newer cars, its with the RPOs, outside the regular box of numbers and will start with "wa". ie: wa_xxxx
It will be a 4 digit number after the wa.

Also, within the RPOS, it will be a 2 digit number followed by the letter "U".
Let me know what you find. and then we can take it from their.

so i took a look at the codes and this is what i found...within the RPOs "40U" and in the bottom left corner i found "wa-L8554"

Both numbers varify that you have a while car.
