Spacers
In about a month, my car is being put into the sop to be painted black. I was going to chrome my original wheels... but have since changed my mind and decided to go with Chrome ZR1 wheels. I've heard that you can get the spacers at www.tirerack.com for 55$ a piece... but when I e-mailed them, they said they offered them and told me to look on their site. I couldn't find them. Anyone know a direct link? or e-mail that I'm sure to find them at? Also, do I need front spacers as well? the wheels will be 17x9 or 17x9.5 I think. Thanks

Dude, check the archives...the ZR1 and the other new vette wheels are 17x9.5 up front and 18x10.5 in back. The spacers that you need are 2 and a quarter and you can order them from any Discount Tire Company for about $50.00 each...hope this helps you.

Discount Tire company did not have the spacers, they told me to try a company Sure-Fit, they charge 200 a piece... maybe it was tirerack?

www.vettebrakes.com makes them also. They are around $150 a pair(2). They are a little higher but the are very nicely done. They include a set of lugs for mounting the adapters and a set for mounting the wheels. I have them on my camaro and have had really good luck with them. Hope this helps.

Go to skulte.com they have spacers that will fit. I got my spacers from them over a year ago and have worked great. I have 2 1/4" or 2 1/2" in the front cant remember and 1 1/2" in the back this is probably what size you want. On the site it will tell you what size you need.
