what's a front clip??? what are the different ones for different years??? i assume there are three different ones, 82-84, 85-90, and 91-92.

 

front clips are everything from the windshield to the front of the car. Usually when people refer to this they're talkin about bumper covers. There were 4 styles of these throught thirdgen camaros. 82-84, 85-87? 88-90, 91-92. Any one will fit on a thirdgen camaro. The first set were more boxy, had 3 huge slits under the emblem and more square turn signals, the 2nd set smoothed out a lot, the slits got smaller and the turn signals became wider and shorter. the 3rd set closed the slits and the 4th set continued this but with a slightly sdmoother shape.

 

The description of front clips Richie gave is pretty much correct for sport coupes, Berlinettas, LTs and 89+ RS Camaros.

For other Camaro models, this needs to be expanded on a little. The 82-84 Z28 has its own style, as does the 85-90 Z28/IROC. 91 & 92 (all models) use the same front bumper as the 85-90 Z28/IROC but used a different lower gfx piece. The 88 sport coupe and 87-89 RS and use the same parts as the 85-90 Z28/IROC.
