ok heres my problem on thirdgen.org there is a vin# decoder its saying my car is a factory z28 ,did they put any out from the factory that didnt have ground effects is there any other way i can tell if its a reAL z28 also were is the best place for me to find cheap ground effects without having to rip them off a car at the junkyard

 

The ground effects were part of the Z/28 package. As to the decoder, it may be in error if you don't have them. Does your rpo tag have the code Z28 listed? I think it should if it is a Z/28. If I'm wrong about the rpo code on the tag, someone please correct me here.

As for the parts, the wrecking yard is your best bet imho, and you may be able to get the yard to remove them for you if you don't want to do it.

Yes, the trim tag should have "Z28" stamped on it somewhere. Also the RPO label will have Z28 on it also.
