Re: Wide Fenders

Isn't that pic of the blue Camaro like a prototype of some special edition that was never produced? Seems like I've seen that pic b4. Maybe I'm wrong though. It would take alot of body work to make those fenders look as good as that pic. But it can be done. Just depends on how much you want that look.

Re: Wide Fenders

idk about the special edition camaro.. i've seen it on chevyworld before and they said it was an old bodykit they had for them back in the day (idk if it's true or not)

i just wounder what they'd look like on a stock camaro.. get some wider rims and tires (rim's with a fatty lip) but idk if it'd really "blend" from the front view..

Re: Wide Fenders

Looks like they would work but if you just bolt them on it might look like a Jeep with fender flares bolted on. You could sure run some wide *** wheels on that thing with those on there.

Re: Wide Fenders

I don't think they would be necessary. People are running 17x9.5 fronts and 17x11 rear with a 2 inch drop without widened fenders

Re: Wide Fenders

I've thought about getting those, and having the rear notches for the Camaro lights filled, and put them on my GTA, but I don't wanna know the wheel & tire cost it would take to fill those, unless I went 15s, and I'm not doing that.

That's funny, because they used a 3rd gen to build a real life one for promotional stuff at disney!

I like the kit, but they don't make it for birds... as usual. I'm so tempted to get a camaro sometimes, just to has aero options. Those square lines, they are tempting.

Re: Wide Fenders

hey i actually kinda like the wide body look but that front bumper rally kills that camaro lol... BUT if the front bumper was just stock then i believe that it would look pretty good!

Also Stephen: That would be an interesting look on your GTA. Never seen a wide body firebird. I think it would definatly look pretty good man -Matt

I just wouldn't use the front fenders. They'd never match up. By using the just the rears, it woulda be like Niels car. Now, if I only had his budget!
