I have a Black 92'z, wich rim color would look better? If someone has photoshop help a brother out..hehe. These rims will be for daily use.Both rims are the sam design.

Black is sooo yesterday, They hide the rims

 

In my opinion black rims only look good on bright colored cars, and for whatever reason, tehy look spectacular on red cars... but only with a polished lip.

Other than that, Im not much a fan of black. Especially not on black cars.

 

Personally on a black car nothing looks better than high polished or chrome wheels...evrytime I see a nice car with black rims...I cringe!

 

Black only if it has a polished lip. That one doesn't. Black with a polished lip matches if you have other polished/chrome parts on the car such as chrome door handles or chrome hood pins. If you got none of that, it doesn't match too well.

If you are going larger than 17" really consider a brake upgrade, at least LS1 brakes.

 

I am not a fan of either of those wheels in the colors you have chosen. I do agree partially with some of the comments above, that ALL black wheels do not look good on MOST colors at all, and can be worse on a all black car. I think that if you are wanting a black wheel there needs to be some sort of a lip, or polished edge (grand sport) to break up the wheel and tire.

I love a polished lip black rim on a black car!!!!

Hey BADNBLK, u have one of the hottest camaros i have ever seen!!!! keep it up man! oh and watch out for me, cuz in a few years, i'll be there too! haha! oh ya and as for the rims, go with the second one. i prefer chrome but oh well. a black car is pretty versatile in color options.

I have black GTA wheels on my '88 with a polished lip. I love them.

 

 

Im not ab ig fan of those wheels on thirdgens, but those 91-92 'birds just have a thing going for them that's unique among all the thirdgen models. Those wheels look like they belong on that car!

You got me wanting some competition gray wheels for my red RS now...

I say chrome but I would go with gray

 

I like and black car black rim look with or without a chrome lip. Im going with weld prostars on my car but I love the black on black too looks stealthy I say go with the black ones

Competition Grey looks real nice. Have you considered Black Chrome?

 

If the car is black on black, I would go Regular Crome personally.
If it is a two tone car, then black or gray depending on the lower tone.

But black or gray rims would look good too.
I believe black can look good, but you have to be more careful with black than gray. Since the wrong shade of black, and wrong style could look really bad against a black car. Gray would be simpler to go with and get a good result.

 

Black chrome is one of the most beautiful finishes there is but sadly as of yet its not caught on as good as it should.

 

I thought about black chrome the only rims I found & liked were a set of zr1/ss style rims in black chrome. What do you think? 17x9.5/17x11
