Valve cover color?
I have a mid year production '92 TPI that came originally with black covers. Question is,since I have them off should I paint them black again or paint them silver like all the previous year TPI engines?
I'm on the fence about so I thought I'd take some opinions.

Re: Valve cover color?
Unless you can't stand the black, I wouldn't worry about it. Not like they're super rare, but 91 and 92 birds are harder to come by than previous year models. You've got a different nose, valve covers, and while your throttle body might not sat "tune port injection", you have a cool speed density system. It's okay to be different--there's no segregation on TGO

Why change from stock? Anything looks nice when it's clean and original looking.

I would go with the color of the car or another color that goes with it. But make it stand out.
