The rims are Ruff racing 278 series. The line has been discontinued though, and the only place you can still get them is VQmotoring.com. I believe they purchased the right to the rim line. Tires are nitto NT555, and they were bought from discounttiredirect.com. I bought the spring and strut combo off ebay. Lifetime warranty on the springs and all 4 shocks and they are official tokico products for only $399 plus shipping!

Thanks to all the rest of you who commented also!

I actually had 17 inch black Z06 motorsport wheels with the polished lip on the car before, and I really didn't like how they looked. I had always wished I went with chrome after that, so now I did it, and am very happy. To each thier own though. My bro had black wheels on his camaro and it looked GREAT! Guess it depends on the car.

Re: Opinions on new rims and lowering springs!

I don't usually like big wheels, but those don't seem over the top and the classic 5 star design looks classy, I do think they look nice.

Re: Opinions on new rims and lowering springs!

Thanks all for the comments! I wasn't expecting the car to drop quite so much with the springs, but it worked out for the better I think because it looks perfect to me. Just have to watch the speed bumps!

And luvofjah, your car is a sleeper! I saw the sig pic of it and figured it was a real clean stock notch, but then saw that it was a procharged 305. Must surprise a lot of people!

Tires are great! Rims are 18x9.5 in back and 18x8.5 in front.

WhitedevilTA Looks Great! How does the Tokico package ride? What color are the springs? I have been looking at the kit, and just want some feedback. Thanks.

The tokico package rides probably about as good as it'll get for a car thats about 6 inches from the ground, haha. The rims and low profile tires don't help, but honestly, I'm very happy with it. I love how responsive it feels and how much better the cornering is now. In a sports car, I would rather not have the cushiony ride, but a nice crisp one, and in that sense it's perfect! The springs are powdercoated red. I bought mine on ebay....400$ with a lifetime warranty. How can you beat that for an entire suspension upgrade!!

And thank you both for the compliments!

I love the stance that your car has. But I don't dig the wheel design or the chrome.

I think the wheels are sexy, but a hard look to pull off on a third gen. Lose the door guards and it will look 110% better IMO

I'm not a fan of chrome wheels, but your car sits very nice with those springs.

Yea, you either love em or hate them. Some people don't like chrome, and I have never had a chrome set on the car before these, and I LOVE them. As for the wheel design, I have always been a huge fan of a split 5 spoke.....they look better in person haha. Pics make the fronts look like crap, except for the side shot.
