Powder coating stock Z28 wheels?

I picked up an extra set of 91-92 5 star type stock wheels off e-bay. I want to powder coat them white to match my cars stripes. Has anyone do that with these type of wheels? What about the center caps, do you powder coat them also? PICS AT ALL?

thanks

I've seen it done, it works pretty well... I'm not sure about the center caps though, that might have to be painted. BTW, how much did you get the rims for? I'm thinking about selling mine.

I picked them up for $405. That is if I win the bid, but it only has 1 day left and I put on a rather high bid for them wheels. I sold my stock wheels last year for my American Eagle wheels, now I want to have the stock ones back. (DOH) So, my wheels are for sale and I need to powder coat the new stock ones coming in. So, as long as it works, I am happy. Your right I will have to paint the center caps, because they are plastic. Wish I had pics. Soon as I get it done I will post pics. If my bid fall through, I would trade wheels with you or buy yours for a good deal. If you want pics let me know via e-mail.

Nah, don't need anymore wheels... I'm buying some new SS wheels, so no need. But I'm thinking of selling mine. Not sure yet.

Whatever you're powdercoating needs to be able to withstand the 350° to 400° curing temp. Wheels should be OK. If the centers are plastic it wouldn't work if they are metal you should be OK.
