Re: Post pics of your Blue Third gens
ehhh macco did mine. and vey subpar at that. i mean most of it looks amazing. they where just rough around the edges. more runs then the boston marathon. some fuz clearcoated over. bad prep work. and i have a tiny spider web starting under my clear coat. it got done in december and sat in the garage till may. i would bring it back but everytime i bring it back they ruin my trim, my emblems, weatherstriping. etc etc i can see i will be getting it painted again rather soon. professionally done this time.

Re: Post pics of your Blue Third gens
well, they break mine they buy mine. I don't have much on the outside, pretty bare no emblems but I do have the trim on the doors. If they charge over 1k on a premimum job, i'd kill them for messing it up. I was looking for a "shine" job, just to fix up my rust repairs since I used touchup paint. and the hood paint is wearing through.
Anyway, there is a small place in South bound brook in nj usa, so i'll call them. and get a price, maaco offers something around $400 for their cheap stuff, it only needs to last 2years before I get the illegally blinding super shiny start drooling full paint with the bird and custom glowing outlining.

Factory GM Medium Quasar Metallic just like so many other GM models...
The first shot is right before dusk.
The second shot is lights on and sun shining on it. Hopefully it gives you an idea of how it looks in different conditions.

Re: Post pics of your Blue Third gens
I would think mine is darker than lemans metallic blue. Although it seems on the net if you look at pictures of lemans metallic blue it looks different depending on who's pictures you look at.
I do know that on my monitor the color of blue on my GTA is exactly what it looks like in my garage. Thanks for the compliment!

My 1992 RS Camaro. It needs a new paint job, and these are pictures before I started tearing it apart, but it came in blue when I bought it!

Prolly a bit darker than what you're looking for... but I like the contrast between when the sun hits it and when it doesn't.

Yeah. I got some pics of the front but it was in the rain... And also, I modified the rear hatch the easiest way possible without having to drill more holes. My brother had a 92 z28 with the spoiler in that teal color? So I took the actual bottom piece of the hatch off, the piece that attatches to the window and swapped that over. It is off color but you really cannot tell, heres some pics.

Well my car's color is probably a bit darker than you're looking for but I figured I'd contribute. I wish I knew the exact paint code and name but as far as I'm concerned, it's "Midnight Blue."

I found that on his home page. If I remember correctly the color is Black Sapphire as well. Anybody know if it's a stock color on any brand?
