Is there anyway to strip the color accents off of the IROC wheels.... Im getting the car painted and well the gold on the rims is just pissing me off... anywho anyone ever tried anything b4?

try aircraft coating remover, it'll take off the clear too, just put it on thick and let it set for 15 minutes out of the sun. scrape it off with a putty knife or a wood handled wire brush.

 

Any pics of striped rims with no paint or polishing yet. thinking on stripeing them and only polishing the flat parts. leaving the painted parts bare. kind of like the mustang rims off the gts '98.
