Anyone ever seen an ultra z hood on a thirdgen camaro?? I'm really curious so see how it looks. I dont think that there are any companies out there that make them.... It wouldnt be too hard to fiberglass my own though... just looking for opinions on how it would look... I dont have photoshop otherwise i would try to throw a picture together..

You know, I've thought about the UltraZ hood on a Thirdgen cammie too. Good idea.

To my knowledge, it doesn't exist, so you'd have to make it.

maybe you could get a ram air hood and modify it?

I know its only for the fourthgen... i was hoping that someone could photoshop that scoop on a thirdgen camaro since i'm not the best at photoshop. I was planning on building my own fiberglass hood in the ultra-z style... It wont be for a month of two.. i have to find a hood for the mold... If I made a few would anyone be interested?

depending on how good it turns out and how it looks on the car id be interested my daytona hood isnt really doing it for me anymore

I think that hood would look good on a thirdgen if the body lines were followed... bes thing about it is that it would be able to be made into ram air...

Need someone with computer skills on this one, I think it's a good idea and wouldn't mind seeing the end result.

I have computer skills... just not editing skills.... i know i suck at it.. haha. its just a rough pic... the end result will be better... just gotta find a hood for a mold.

yeah i agree i think it would come out pretty good. I hope this turns out good. Finding the right hood for the mold won't b easy though

Count me as interested. I'd love to see something new and different for fbods,and this could easily be made functional as well. Thats a big hell yeah.

funds are a little low right now... so i havent been able to get to it... if enough people are interested, dont you think we could get a company to manufacture it?

I had that idea a couple of weeks ago. I started with a RA II hood & just combined the 2 scoops into 1.

The more I look at it, I think the 1 long intake slot matches the 86-90 lines very well.

I whipped up a 5 mi PS on a Camaro. Someone here on TGO just posted their newly painted hood, I saw it & thought it would make a good base of one to PS from.
