My thoughts exactly. Probably not much left anyways. Depending how long that rear window has been gone, the floors have probably rotted through

Re: tragedy

it's a shame the owner is letting it go like that. you should at least cover his license plate if you're posting a picture of his car though... especially since you took a picture of it while it was parked on his property.

Re: tragedy

Post this thread on every thirdgen site you can find, and ask everyone to plead for him to sell the car... get it around the web, and then show him.

Now if that doesn't work, then invoke the ultimate Car Guy exploit

"Dood , don't be a D*ck!"

Any true car guy will re-evaluate his position on that comment.. maybe it will work for you..

If not..... Then call your local police, because more than likely, their is some "dead car" law that your city has that will force him to make a move on it, or atleast put a freakin car cover over it... This one will have some effect on him im sure.

Huh? License plates are there as/for public information. It's doing it's job.

Re: tragedy

wow...
i've had the same troubles like this too,
I was out looking for a second gen camaro, and I found one in my town, the guy that had it used to abused the sh*t out of the car, he'd go 80 mph and pop it into second just to hear the engine crackle and growl at him. he'd blew all three engines he had in it, four four speed manual transmissions, and had to rebuild the rear axle. now it sits at behind his mom's house, with no engine or transmission, with out a hood, with a tarp over it.

I asked and asked and asked the woman if she sell it, or if her son would sell it to me, but they turned me down everytime, they dont want to sell it...

second gen camaros are so hard to find in this area...
