Not a thirdgen, but if you watch "Dazed and Confused" you will see a 70-73 Firebird with Thirdgen wheels (82-86 Z28 15" 5 spoke) It was a blooper, because the movie was set in 1976

92blackZ...yeah I noticed that....but it had magically changed to a second gen long before that....remember when Axle, and the two other cops were in the mansion in the pool....and the fat cop fell in...well after he changes...they leave in a car together to that country club (gun club maybe) well the black Camaro pulls out from behind some cars...and it somehow changes to a second gen.

It is sort of like smokey and the bandit, but with a couple of irocs in it instead. It is a blue iroc. First u see it, it has the later style rims, then later on in the movie, it has the earlier style rims on it, go figure,

There are so many thirdgens that pop up in the background of movies its nearly impossible to name them all. Alot of forgettable made-for-TV movies had thirdgens. Its also fun to spot them in news clips from the 80's on various history shows.

I bet you guys did know this one, in the movie Back To The Future 2 there is an 89 Pontiac Banshi Prototype the you can see drive through the town square twice and it is parked on the side of the curb of the town square. This Prototype inspired the 91 Trans am.
