What would all have to be done, and would it be worth it, do put one of the Z28 hi-rise spoilers on a Camaro that has one of the 3-piece ones. I wanna put the Z28 one on mine, and I don't know what kinda body work I'd have to do, or have a shop do. Thanks guys.

I did this to my iroc. Well i didnt do it myself but i had it done. After removing the three piece spoiler, there were a number of holes on the hatch that dont line up with the high rise spoiler. That wasnt that bad but there were i think 3 holes on both back fenders where the spoiler ran down the side. My body man said that the holes were so big that he couldnt just feel in the holes, he had to weld a piece of metal behind each hole and then even everthing out with body plastic. If you get a reproduction high rise spoiler like i did you will probably have to grind down the part of the spoiler that hangs over the back fenders because more than likely it will hit when you close the hatch. A spoiler straight from GM shouldnt hit at all. Everything turned out great for me except for the line you can see in the paint where the new paint meets the old paint. You can only see it in certain lights. If you have any more questions please email me at thickfacek@nc.rr.com

The filler in the holes would fall out in a relatively short time because of expansion and contraction of the metal. Even small the smallest holes really need to be welded, or the filler tends to fall out and leave you with holes in your paint.

Did you ever think that that Mustang is even more "precious" than his IROC? Maybe he has a 2 car garage...That looks like a 65/66 coupe which are very valuable. Maybe he will sell it one day and get another f-body...Oh well.
