Ok, a pet pev of mine. It does not look good either. In mpo a camaro with a ram air hood looks ridiculous. The lines are just not there. Same thing with trying to put a ram air hood on a third firebird, just looks funny. Why not just throw a pheonix on your z28, same thing.

 

i completely agree, the ram air hoods have no place on a camaro. For that matter, they have to place of any 3rd gen or 93-97 4th gen. They only flow with the lines of a 98-02 4th gen car.

Some people love them on anything though.

 

I can see why people want them on there cars, proably one of the nicest hood ever made. There is a 95-97 caamaro that has a cheap knock off, looks stupid and the thirds I have seen make them look like they belong in a trailer park even more. Prove me wrong and post your pic. Ill admit if I am wrong.

 

I think the Ram Air I hood looks good on the 91-92 birds and the SS hood looks good on the camaros but thats it.

I'm just thrilled the thirdgen f-body has so many different options out there. We have SS-style hoods for firebirds even.

 

thats a great looking car, but the hood just isnt right, it just doesn't fit the style/lines of the car.

as for the RAII hood, they kinda work on the 91-92, they seem to flow a little better.

 

Let people do what they wish.

It isn't your car, so you don't have to deal with it. This shouldn't even be an issue.

Yeah, i'm not too crazy about them being on camaros either. Firebirds with 4th gen hoods look good though. But as others have said...pointless thread.

 

I wanted to see if anyone could pull it off.
