Hi Guys,
I have a Ram Air 1 style hood on my 89 Formula and would like to add some form of stripes to it. However, I've been searching the boards but cannot find any pics of a RA1 hood w/ striping. Could someone please post a pic so I can get an idea of what could be done?

Bump, after searching for such pics I've only come up with this thread.

I think the problem for thirdgens at least is, that the stripes have to be custom done. Blackbird stripes for lt1 birds won't work, because the retro fitted hoods are a different size.

 

Reviving a4 yr old thread but this seems to have the answer. I want to do blackbird stripes when I get my RA1 hood painted but wasn't sure they'd fit. I'm thinking not bc it is much higher at the back vs a stock LT1 ram air hood. Anyone else done this?

 

You could plastidip them and if you don't like it peel it off.

Hawks only has decals that say "Ram Air" for 93-97. I'm inquiring about the actual Blackbird strips that ran on either side of the vent to the back of the hood along the raised center. Fourth Circle Design sells them, I'm unsure if they'll work on my RA1 hood though.
Looking at my hood this morning, it doesn't look that much different than the 95-97 ram air hoods so may have to take some measurements and do some compairsons. I guess another option is to have them painted on...
