I've had mine for 2 years now - no complaints. My body man said the quality was excellent.

I bought my big block hood about 3 years ago. I think the quality is really good. I have also had other people tell me that the quality was good. I did have to even out the front to get it to fit better, but it wasn't a big deal.

The SS hood is 480 at thunderracing and they give you $20 off for ordering it online....

$460, its a start, and better than $500 ...

i love the look of my hood. i've had it on a little over a year now, and the body shop said that it was very high quality.

on a side note, i got a yearone catalog, and they have ASCD hoods in there. i noticed the prices were like $100 off of ASCD's list prices. does their catalog need to be updated, or do they offer a good deal on those hoods?

blackbird, I think yearone and thunderracing just bought a bunch of them a year or so ago when the ASCD prices were lower, they're still makin money on them though

it actually is $475 from ASCD not $500. I know whaat the website says and what their advertisements say. But when you cal for the price it is different than what they advertise

------------------
I WOULD RATHER PUSH A CAMARO THAN DRIVE AN IMPORT

1983Z28 350w/ edelbrock performer RPM power package , dynomax shorty headers, 700R-4 with shift kit, 750cfm carb, edelbrock 3" exhaust system, 16" IROC rims and ASCD SS hood.

future mods:
SLP headers, completely done over suspension, black paint with flames, NEW PLAN IN THE MAKING:
BUILD A WILD CHEVY 302 JUST LIKE THE ORIGINAL Z28 HAD
