Help plumbing my engine build, need ideas!

I have rebuilt my 350 TPI. I am in the process of finishing up powder coating
the TPI, fuel rails, valve covers, etc. I would like to plumb the engine in the blue/red anodized, stainless steel hose. Does anyone have any experience/photos of there TPI or engine. Not sure who to buy from? Also is this stuff easy to use, anything to watch out for when using (assembling)?

Thanks for the help!

I see you are from KY, I am not to far down the road from you.

The stuff isnt too bad. If you are going to make a cut you need wrap the hose in some duct tape so it doesnt fray at the cut. Put your fitting in a vise then oil the hose and the fitting. I usually leave the tape on the hose. Push the hose into the fitting while twisting at the same time. It takes a little practice but you will get the hang of it.

I use a cut off wheel in a die grinder to cut the hose. After you get the hose in the fitting you should be able to pull the tape out.

Thanks for the response! I was wondering if I posted in the wrong area as I wasnt getting any replys. Braided line is expensive, so I didnt want to get into using it if I was going to have a hard time working with it. I tried the spectre braided hose covering a few years ago. It didnt work worth a dam! Looked awful as well. IMHO! How well does braided line bend around corners? I have a couple of cramped area's I might be able to work it around.

Thanks,

As far as where to get them, I ordered all mine through summit. The hose does bend fairly easy. And that engine is probably one of the coolest TPIs i think I've ever seen

once you get the hang of it, the braided hose and fittings are a breeze to work with, and save a lot of time when you have to take it apart.

Thanks for the replies. I did a little more research and was going to order and piece together the lines for the PCV. Well I called the Summit Tech line and they told me of kits that Spectre make that are precovered (not the sleeves). I ordered enough to run to the PCV and the other valve cover. Also the vacuum line to the brake booster. 5/8 and 3/4 heater hose as well. Will have to see how this Spectre hose conforms.

Thanks again!
