whats a good way to protect wheels?

I just purchased some new wheels and I want them to look good for a long time. I there any kind of protector out there that keeps them looking good? Also what is the best wheel cleaner?

and use whatever wax or polish you use on the car. in my opinion, you should treat the wheels just like you would treat the rest of the car. that'll help the brake dust and grime to come off easier when you do wash them.
