anytime....maybe you can get some people that have done it to reply to this, maybe they have some more tips...its definately cheeper, and it takes lots of patiants...especially your first time, may have to redo a lot...but take your time, bubbles and mis-alignment sucks!! and be sure to get some good tint that doesnt turn purple too!
I suggest doing it in a garage if possible. If you can't then at least wait for a day with little or no wind. That'll help keep out little bits of dust, grass, or bugs, and keep the film from trying to blow away and getting wrinkled (one crease and it's there for life!).
when I worked for a dealership they showed me how to do it. And it looks a lot easer then it realy is, and those film sheats are not cheep. But here's the tip's i know of.
One.when sizeing your film spray a soap/water mix,and use a plastic/rubber scraper to get rid of any air pockets. do this on the out side it will make it easer)
Two. clean the glass with soap and water Never ues windex. If you smoke use a razzor blade on the inside to scrape them clean
three. spray the inside of the glass with the soap/water mix.then place the film on it. use a heat gun to make the film flex a small amount but don't heat it to much. with a small plactic/rubber scraper push and pull the s/w mix out.
four. this is the most important . don't try to do the back window if you don't think you can.The back window need's to be done in two sheats of film because of the curve of the glass.
sorry about the spelling, if you have any Q's my E address is somewhere in here

Probably more troble than it's worth. Most tint shops will do your whole car for $125.00 with a warrenty. If you screw that back windiw up (if you have defrost) you will really have fun getting the tint off and not destroying the defroster. Somethings are best left to the pros. Sorry to sound like doom and gloom.

I agree, go with the pros, They did one single sheet on my back window, and it looks good. My whole car only cost 100.00 bucks, with lifetime warrenty.
