Leather gearshift surround

Mine's pretty screwed, is there any good ones that will fit?
Because of the way it is it doesn't look like any one you could buy would fit

Year one sells the whole new top plates that include the shifter boot for $60. Unless you got a friend in the states who can buy one and send it to ya, thats probably your best bet.

if your talking about the boot, for a firebird or T/A,there is a guy on e-bay that sells a fake leather, cheaper vinyl version of these that are nice,, you just have to use your frame from your old one.I cant remember his e-mail address but I got one from him shipped to me for less than $20. I think(befor I switched to a fourth gen console)But if you search back in the arcives a few mounths you will find a simalar topic that dose have his address,,someone else might know??

I have a 4-speed...but anyway...will any of those "ribbed" kinda ones fit at all?
Also mine wasn't very good when I bought it so I am not sure....how far up towards to top of the **** is the leather bit meant to be?
All the way? Or only like half way?
I can get a picture if you would like me to clarify

Here is another option for you. Take yours to a shoe repair man or a leather guy and have a new one made. It is pretty simple, especially with yours as a pattern. BTW, I got a new console from GM including the boot recently and it was simulated leather instead of the real thing. I swapped a genuine leather boot for it. Good luck, Lon.

GM never made leather shifter boots for thirdgen cars. It's ALL simulated leather!!!

LFN at U,

I have an 85 IROC. The boot is leather (I've had it off to clean it: saddle soap and black shoe polish). The boot goes to the ****. Gib_Sandwich and others, e-mail me for a pic, if you wish.

It's not a factory RHD.
It has been converted over here.
As for rare, it has a fibreglass hood, I think that's fairly rare =)

My 85's leather without question, and only a few days ago at a yard, I noticed another in, I believe, an 84 HO--actually, now that I consider it, the one in my 85 came from an older car as well.

1. Wifes sewing machine or be real sweet to your girlfriend.
2. $ 4.00 worth of leather.
3. Razor blade to cut old one apart for pattern.

equals:
