I love the color and the result, but you really shoulda masked it like stated above.. I don't know if it could cause any real issues, but it seems safer to mask stuff like that when you paint it.

you should have masked it man, it looks really good just if any feums get into the combustion chamber might back fire or would fire unevenly

i sprayed mine while it was still on the car. u should have taped it off like everyone else have said. hope u go threw and scrape paint off the areas that need gaskets or u going to have a sealing problem. is that heat paint??

yes its heat paint and the picture is kind of misleading there is hardly any paint in there and just took the intake off was in a rrush to paint it but deffanitly will be scraping the gaskett off thanks guys

and just a quick question if you look at the first pic, where the provision for the waterneck and thermostat is just to the left of it there was a plug there and it was broken I have to replace it but i have no idea what its called, a little help guys?

I think that might be the coolant temperature sensor (To the ECM).

What fumes? When the paint is dry there are no fumes at all. The paint won't do damage and in fact it might improve sealing on gasket surfaces. just install as is, don't worry about it.
