I started my body work about 2 days ago. I have removed almost everything needed before paint, I am in the process of sanding the car down (180 grit) and taping off everything that needs it. I also did the door jams, the hatch area and under the hood my self, because the paint shop charges way to much to do that extra. So, I went with canary yellow, looks good so far, I will keep you all updated!

PS Body work is a mother..........

I hate doing body work cause if I don't get it right, it bugs the crap out of me untill I fix it hehehe. So that's what I'm doing after the new motor goes in Good luck on the project!

LG4 305 .030 over, performer intake, holley street avenger 670, xe 256 cam, tes headers, 3 inch single exhaust, spintech muffler, 14 x 3 inch drop base k&n.

 

Well, so far, a bi!@h to say the least. I just sold my stock wing for $120 local, now to order my new wing and get my baby in the paint shop. I will feel good, however, knowing that I did the bodywork good, not half a$$. I am painting the light area the same color as the car (like the RS option) and the grill is totaly sanded down (no bowtie anymore, now says NOS). Total custom job, I will post good pics when she is done (early November).
